Medical Students
HMS Exchange Clerkship
Radiation Oncology offers clerkship opportunities to fourth year medical students at Harvard Medical School as well as to fourth year students from other US accredited medical schools through the HMS Exchange Clerkship Program. Students rotate for 4 weeks at either Massachusetts General Hospital or the Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute. During that time, the student’s schedule will provide them with exposure to the wide range of cancer types seen by our clinical faculty. They will also be able to attend daily morning didactics designed to increase their understanding of the practice of radiation oncology. Please contact the Harvard Medical School for more information about this opportunity.
Visiting Clerkship Program through HMS Office of Diversity Inclusion and Community Partnership
The HMS Office of Diversity Inclusion and Community Partnership has information on their website regarding their Visiting Clerkship Program. They are able to provide additional support, including stipends and mentorship opportunities, to those medical students who identify as being from a group that is disadvantaged or under represented in medicine. Application and deadlines are available at their website or you can reach out directly to Lyn Fulton-John in the Office of DICP for more information.
