Harvard Radiation Oncology Program Women’s Initiative

The HROP Women’s Initiative aims to encourage the professional development of women in radiation oncology and promote gender equity in our field. We host round table discussions and panels several times a year, with speakers from our radiation oncology faculty and experts from the larger Harvard University system. Our events focus on challenges faced by women in medicine and in the workplace in general, with a goal to foster mentorship and equip residents with tools and strategies to succeed in radiation oncology. Prior topics have included self-advocacy, negotiation, and mentorship/sponsorship.
